About me

Mr Fernando Galli is a Consultant ENT and Thyroid Surgeon practising at Spire Murrayfield Hospital Wirral. He is also Clinical Lead and Head and Neck Cancer Lead at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where he also serves as the GIRFT (Getting It Right First Time) lead for ENT. He has been practising as an ENT specialist for over 20 years.

Mr Galli has expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of a wide range of adult and paediatric ENT conditions. His clinical practice includes thyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery involving the parotid and submandibular glands, diagnosis and management of head and neck cancers, and treatment of neck lumps. He is also experienced in managing balance disorders, vertigo, nasal and sinus disease, and performing functional endoscopic sinus surgery. His surgical repertoire includes microlaryngoscopy, panendoscopy, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, parotidectomy, submandibular gland excision, thyroidectomy, tongue tie release, and sentinel lymph node biopsy.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Galli is a clinical supervisor for junior doctors and an appraiser for consultant and junior colleagues. He is a member of the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons.
