About me
I'm Camilla and I have worked in mental health settings for ten years. As a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, I have experience in working with people who have a range of different needs, from depression and anxiety, to complex life circumstances. I specialise in helping people with self-critical thoughts who may struggle with their confidence and perfectionism. I also have significant experience in the NHS supporting people who have had mental health breakdowns and/or experienced psychosis. I am dedicated to making therapy more accessible for people with diverse backgrounds and identities.
I understand how scary it can be to reach out for help. I believe in building safe therapeutic relationships and aim to empower people. Therapy should be collaborative and I use my training to get to know you as an individual. Together we may explore your history and background, current circumstances and hopes you may have for your future.
As a psychologist, I work in a trauma-informed way and integratively. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies to help people in a person-centred way. I use models such as cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative theories and compassion-focused therapy. Feel free to email me to see if I'm the right fit for you during a free 15-minute call.
