About me

Dr Nilay Chatterjee is a Consultant in Pain Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK's leading tertiary referral centres. He has extensive experience in the assessment and management of complex acute and chronic pain conditions and has trained at recognised institutions in the UK, the Middle East, and India.
He takes a personalised, patient-centred approach to care, placing strong emphasis on clear communication and shared decision-making. Dr Chatterjee works closely with multidisciplinary teams to help patients better understand their condition, explore appropriate treatment options, and improve function and quality of life.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Chatterjee is actively involved in research and education in pain medicine.
