About me
I'm available for new clients, so if there's something in your life that keeps bothering you, or you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, low, or not quite yourself, and you're looking for somewhere you can finally talk about it, do get in touch.
In counselling, I believe the best way to understand yourself better, is through a human relationship, where you can feel met, just as yourself.
When we're having a difficult time, it's understandable we push our feelings away, distract ourselves, or just keep going regardless. But often the things we're avoiding are the very things that need to be seen. And when we do finally pay attention to them, it's actually a relief.
I offer empathic listening and emotion-focused ways of working to help you begin turning towards yourself with curiosity and kindness. Instead of fighting with your thoughts and feelings, we can slow down and listen to what they're trying to tell you.
This might include exploring conflicting parts of yourself, finding words for things that have been difficult to understand and make sense of, or learning how to be more present with difficult or confusing feelings. As things begin to make more sense, you'll find yourself feeling calmer, clearer about what you want, and more able to move forward.
If this sounds like the kind of support you're looking for, do get in touch with me. We can arrange some sessions and begin.
If you're not quite ready, you can visit my website first to find out more about how I work.
