About me

Firstly, I think it's amazing that you're making the first step in your journey towards feeling better in your life, whatever that means to you. I would be honoured to support you towards your recovery of mental health difficulties and thank you for considering me! I focus on what's happened to you, not what's wrong with you. You might have symptoms of anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, significant drug and alcohol use, or been given a label of personality disorder, and I can support you to understand what this means and how to move forward. I aim to help people make significant changes in their lives to feel better.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I can help to support a wide range of difficulties. I initially use a process of assessing your needs and creating a shared understanding of your difficulties using a formulation. Then we will collaboratively decide on the next steps in your therapeutic treatment. I can offer EMDR, CBT, and integrative psychology sessions to help.

For me as a therapist, EMDR often feels like magic! It uses eye movements and taps to process the traumatic experiences you've been through, helping you to move on from this in your life. CBT can also help to understand the links between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and how to break these cycles to feel better. I hope to hear from you soon.
