With 29 years of experience beginning as a mental health nurse, I bring a foundation of compassionate care to my therapy practice. My second and third-generation immigrant heritage offers personal insight into cultural complexities and identity challenges.

My expertise includes treating complex cases such as Long-Term Conditions (LTC), Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS), Psychosis and voice hearing, OCD, PTSD, and various anxiety disorders. I incorporate complementary approaches including Mindfulness-Based CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, and DBT skills to ensure idiosyncratic treatment within NICE guidelines.

I have extensive experience working effectively with interpreters to deliver CBT to non-English speaking clients in diverse urban communities. My practice spans crisis support, older adult and dementia care, psychosis services, forensic settings, and community mental health teams across both the UK and New Zealand.

As a reflective practitioner, I create a safe judgment-free environment where healing begins through genuine human connection. Fully insured and committed to evidence-based practice, I maintain the highest professional standards through regular supervision and continuous development.
