About me

I recognise therapy is a journey of self discovery and not a one-size fits all, therefore, I can adapt my approach accordingly to cater to your unique needs and aim for you to get the most from the experience. Regardless of how small you may believe your current issue is, I will sensitively support you explore this and identify alternative strategies to encourage and empower you. I have significant experience practicing CBT in a variety of settings with adults aged 18+ from diverse communities who present with wide ranging mental health issues and complexity including time limited sessions in higher education institution, NHS and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) in corporate environment throughout UK. I have been practicing EMDR for over four years and am a clinical supervisor for student therapists, newly qualified and experienced CBT therapists.
I am happy to provide remote/online sessions via Microsoft Teams Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm to patients from across the UK with therapy sessions taking place in the comfort of your own home/office. Alternatively, I have access to a therapy room in a central, private location in Hamilton with on-site parking facilities. 1 minute walk from Hamilton West train station.

Areas of interest

Anger; anxiety - general/health/social; depression; insomnia; low self esteem; OCD; pain; panic; phobia; trauma - PTSD and complex post traumatic stress disorder, work related stress. I incorporate Compassion Focused Therapy and mindfulness techniques into my treatment.
