About me

Sion Physio & Sports Performance was started by Simon Edwards to provide specialist physiotherapy and sports injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.

With over 15 years of professional practice Simon has built his experience working with British Shooting, Oxford University RFC (where he is still Head of Medical), Molesey Boat Club, Surbiton Hockey Club, and Richmond FC, as well as a variety of individual athletes ranging from amateur to professional.
Simon has also worked very closely with British Rowing since 2019, first looking after the Development Squad and Project Paris, now as a preferred local provider of physiotherapy.

Simon prioritises the function of joints, the integrity of the supporting and functional tissue, and movement quality. All systems in the body must be stressed to adapt, but knowing the right amount of stress takes guidance and care.

Simon can offer these qualities in abundance and help you strive towards your physical goal.

Alongside his physiotherapy practice Simon has achieved a Masters in Strength & Conditioning and currently works as the Performance Manager for Shotgun for British Shooting, helping guide current and future Olympians on their journeys to LA and beyond.
