About me

I have a wealth of experience within private practice working with adult individuals in both shorter and longer term counselling/psychotherapy. I also for many years trained and supervised Relate counsellors and held the role of Senior Practice Advisor to the NE & NW of England.
Good therapy isn't concerned with papering over the cracks or issuing simplistic advice. You can expect to be taken seriously as an individual and I will endeavour to understand and appreciate the meanings of whatever symptoms and distress you might be experiencing. I will communicate without relying on jargon and will strive to help you gain a better understanding of what ails you as well as what might be holding you back from making the changes you desire.
