About me

I am a registered and accredited counsellor with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and am bound by the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions (code of standards, ethics and good practice). I offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to talk. I aim to help people to process difficult emotions, to gain a better understanding of themselves and others, to lessen stress and anxiety and to increase self-confidence, self-esteem and resilience.

I work with adults (18+) who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, stress, low self-confidence, bereavement, loss, trauma, illness and disability, and relationship breakdown.
I work with difficult emotions that you may be feeling eg. anxiety, depression, grief, anger, sadness, loneliness, guilt and shame.

t help individuals to talk about their worries, fears and concerns, so that they can find new ways to cope and to manage trauma and also to accept situations that cannot be changed (such as a bereavement).

I welcome clients who may be feeling nervous about starting counselling or are not sure where to begin. Together, we can think about what you would like to work on or change, so that you can feel more in control and more confident. Whatever situation or trauma you have experienced, you do not have to face the future alone.

Qualifications:
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Person-Centred)
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
BACP Registration and Accreditation

Voluntary Work:
Volunteer National Helpline Counsellor for the NSPCC Childline Service since 2015.
