About me

Dr Jahanshad has been a gastroenterology and hepatology consultant since 2017. He was trained in the East of England deanery including Cambridge and Norwich hospitals. He spent one year post graduation fellowship in advanced endoscopy/pancreas and hepatobiliary tract including ERCP and Endoscopic ultrasound at the Royal Free hospital. He was employed as a substantive consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley NHS trust in 2018.
He performs various diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and polypectomy, ERCP, oesophageal and duodenal stent insertion, PEG insertion, dilatation of strictures and banding of oesophageal varices. He usually performs over 2000 procedures per year.
