About me
Mr Rakesh Dalal MS FRCS FRCSOrth Dip Orth is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising primarily in disorders of the Foot and Ankle.
After primary qualification from the University of Bombay, Rakesh underwent Orthopaedic Residency training In Bombay which culminated in the award of the MS(Orthopaedics) and Diploma in Orthopaedics in 1989 and 1988 respectively.
He continued his Orthopaedic training in the United Kingdom, on the North East Thames, Oxford and Cambridge Rotations .He obtained the FRCS Orth in 1998 and continued Fellowship Training in London, Dallas and Baltimore.
He was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust in 1998.
He also holds a Honorary Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Research) Contract with the University of Manchester.
His primary interest is in Foot and Ankle Surgery and he carries out the whole spectrum of Foot and Ankle Surgery, from Ingrowing Toe nails to Total Ankle Replacements.
