About me

Welcome! I am an experienced, accredited and Integrative, Colchester-based counsellor who works sensitively with adults struggling with childhood Trauma and challenging family relationships.

I hope to help make the first steps towards change, with a kind and compassionate approach. My down to earth personality and lived experience of Trauma helps me to support you in gently unravelling difficulties in childhood and why you are struggling today. I also specialise in helping to support adults with ADHD who suspect they are, or get diagnosed later in life. Together we can try and make sense of the past and how it's affecting your present.

My style of therapy is interactive so don't worry I won't just sit there and say nothing! My hope is for you to feel comfortable and safe. I listen, empathize and gently try to understand what it feels like to be you. I will help you to explore your issues but never push you to talk about things that you are not ready for.
