About me

I commenced postgraduate training in anaesthesia in the UK in November 1987.Had undergone rigorous training in Anaesthesia in hospitals such as Royal Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospitals..
Obtained FRCA (UK) in January 1992 and continued post fellow training under the South West Thames School of Anaesthesia, which enabled me to develop an interest in sub speciality - Pain Medicine and to further my training in renowned hospitals such as Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and St Georges Hospital.
Having had gone through extensive training in acute and chronic pain, both in performing evidenced based targeted spinal interventions, as well as multi-disciplinary pain management programme pertaining to various age group Paediatrics to Geriatrics, I am competent and confident in providing patient centred treatment.

Joined as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine in Greenwich District Hospital in August 1998.
Interventional procedures offered to patients where indicated are Targeted nerve root blocks - for disc protrusion, foraminal nerve root entrapment and persistent post surgical neuropathic pain - CRPS , sympathectomies, diagnostic medial branch blocks Cervical -down to lumbar regions, Radio frequency neuro modulation as well as denervation and many others. .

Have published a review article – The role of Anaesthetist in sickle cell crisis in British Journal of Anaesthesia and various observational studies in Post-Surgical Pain..
Maintain an active role in GP education and participates in national and international academic meetings regularly to maintain continuous professional education.

Complex Regional Pain syndrome type 1 & 2, Chronic abdominal, pelvic and perineal pain, Persistent post-surgical pain
Pain in children.
Can offer para spinal injections including Radiofrequency denervation and neuro modulation.
Offer holistic, patient centred therapy which comprises of multi modal and multi- disciplinary approach.
