About me
The most important thing is that you are in control. Even if you are not sure where to start, part of the therapeutic journey is deciding how you want to regain control over your life and which direction you would like to take.
I specialise in trauma, anxiety and depression in the main, much of this involves a process of loss. I also support clients going through the journey of fertility and all that can entail. Often, sadly, the experience of trauma and fertility overlap. I am more than happy to answer any questions you have about my main areas of focus and
I have completed a wide variety of trauma training and worked with organisations delivering support to individuals who may have experienced abuse or survived traumatic incidents.
Having a business background, I tend to fold in a practical approach to therapy. I have a background of coaching in business prior to retraining as a counsellor. As a result I chose to train using the 'Integrative' approach. This draws on varied theories and interventions. It means that you, as a client, can work more creatively or another more cognitively. We would draw on tools and approaches that suit you and your needs. This approach keeps your requirements and goals front and centre.
