About me

If you're struggling with stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions, I'm here to help. With over 10 years' experience, I offer confidential, compassionate counselling tailored to your individual needs.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. I am committed to the 'Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions' which governs safe and professional practice. Being accredited means my practice has been deemed to meet the BACP's higher standard as a competent and ethical practitioner.

What to expect from Counselling:
It's not always easy to make sense of our thoughts and feelings, and loved ones, however well-meaning, can sometimes be too close to the situation. Counselling gives you the time and space to find clarity, gain confidence, and move forward with hope.

My counselling approach is integrative and relational, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic models to suit your individual needs and personality. These include humanistic, existential, behavioural, psychodynamic, transactional analysis, and creative therapies. I have extensive experience in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. However, I believe the most important part of counselling is the relationship we will build. It needs to be one of trust, respect, honesty and reliability, which I will endeavour to achieve to the best of my ability.

For those who find faith and spirituality significant, I understand the profound impact these can have on personal well-being. As a practising Christian, I can incorporate these aspects into our work togetheronly if relevant and meaningful to you.

**I aim to respond within 24 hours to all enquiries and I have flexible session times available.**

I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, with regular reviews to ensure the support remains aligned with your needs.
