About me

If you're struggling with a transition or life change, feeling dissatisfied or unhappy, feeling stressed or anxious, or need space to think about yourself and your relationships, please consider reaching out.
I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years experience in the NHS, obtaining my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London.

I currently work in an Early Years Team supporting parents and children under 5 years old. Over the years I have supported people with issues such as depression, stress and many different forms of anxiety. I am particularly interested in thinking about what feelings can resurface in relation to our own childhood experiences upon becoming a parent.

I take an integrative approach to work using a range of approaches, incorporating elements of attachment and trauma informed models, as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy I draw from all of these different theories to make sense of people's unique needs and individual circumstances.

I am also trained in using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) in therapeutic work.

If you are experiencing low mood, anxiety, low self esteem, shame or trauma or going through life transitions that feel helpful to make sense, I can support you through an initial assessment and think together about coping strategies to improve your quality of life.

I appreciate that contacting me might feel daunting but I am hopeful that I can support you to make a real difference. We can first have a brief chat to see whether I am the right fit for you and think about how you'd most like to be supported moving forwards. I'd like you to feel genuinely heard and understood, and safe to speak openly.
