About me
Dr Mowat graduated MBChB with Commendation from University of Glasgow in 1992, and was awarded the Stockman Medal. He trained in gastroenterology in the West of Scotland and was appointed Consultant Gastroenterologist at Ninewells Hospital & Medical School, Dundee in 2002. He is also a Senior Lecturer in Gastroenterology at the University of Dundee.His main expertise is investigating and managing digestive problems. He is highly experienced in endoscopy and colonoscopy, managing irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel disease, and other digestive conditions. He leads research in the early detection of bowel cancer..
