About me

Mr Jonathan Warnock Is a specialist knee surgeon. He has particular interest in sports knee injuries, including ACL and complex ligament reconstruction, meniscal repair and preservation, knee replacement and re-alignment surgery.

Mr Warnock completed his training at the prestigious Sydney Orthopaedic Research Institute in Australia with current world leading knee surgeons. This provided invaluable experience in all aspects of knee surgery, managing elite sports injuries and the use of cutting-edge technology in knee replacement (robotics).

Mr Warnock also completed the Belfast Arthroplasty Research Trust (BART) fellowship in hip and knee replacement. Upon returning from Australia, he was appointed to the regional trauma (Royal Victoria Hospital) and elective centres (Musgrave Park Hospital).

Mr Warnock is actively involved in research and remains involved with projects in Sydney. He is an active member of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), and recently published an invited book chapter entitled 'Innovative technology for orthopaedic sports medicine'.

In 2023 Mr Warnock commenced the Multi-ligament Knee Injury Clinic in the Royal Victoria Hospital with the intention of producing world leading research in these complex injuries.
