About me

You've probably spent a long time trying to manage things on your own.

You've kept going, stayed busy, distracted yourself, and hoped things would get easier. But despite your best efforts, anxiety, low mood, trauma, OCD, burnout, ADHD, or simply feeling overwhelmed continue to affect your daily life.

I'm Sanah, a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 11 years' experience working in mental health and founder of The Lyceum Clinic. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem and the emotional challenges that often accompany ADHD and other forms of neurodiversity. I have completed additional training in adapting CBT for adults with ADHD and believe therapy should be adapted to suit the way your brain works, rather than expecting you to adapt to therapy. Sessions are tailored to accommodate differences in attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation and information processing.

Many of the people I work with are managing careers, family life and other responsibilities, yet privately feel overwhelmed, exhausted or stuck in patterns they don't know how to change.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate and practical. Together, we'll develop a shared understanding of what is keeping your difficulties going before using evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), to help you make meaningful and lasting change.

One of the things I value most is helping people understand why they are struggling, not just managing the symptoms. When we understand the patterns that are keeping problems going, it becomes much easier to make lasting changes.

My aim is that you leave therapy not only feeling better, but with the confidence, understanding and practical skills to manage future challenges independently.

If you're ready to take that first step, I'd be pleased to support you.
