About me

I am a general adult psychiatrist who has been in NHS and independent sector practice for over 14 years. I work in a busy North London NHS Community Mental Health Team, which means I assess and treat a very wide range of mental health difficulties, both in terms of nature and severity. These conditions include severe mood disorders such as recurrent depression and bipolar disorder, generalized and more specific anxiety (such as OCD), psychotic conditions, and problems with drug and alcohol use. I have had many years of experience working with patients with borderline personality disorders and with Complex PTSD. A large part of my practice is assessing and treating adult ADHD, with medication and with non-pharmacological strategies. I have growing experience, expertise, and interest in assessing autism spectrum disorder. I also have a busy and long-established medicolegal practice.
