About me

Ms. Kuntal specialises in benign gynecological conditions and is an expert in providing comprehensive Gynae-Oncology services, innovative surgical techniques, and ambulatory gynaecology hysteroscopic diagnostic and treatment procedures. Fluent in Hindi, English, and Urdu, she is passionate about advancing gynaecological care and improving patient outcomes.

Since 2020, Ms. Kuntal has served as a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where she also acts as an educational and clinical supervisor for speciality and nurse trainees. She has played a key role in managing patient tracking lists to reduce Gynae-Oncology surgical waiting times. In 2023, she earned a diploma in gynaecology ultrasound scanning and was certified by the British Menopause Society for menopause care in 2024. She became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG) in 2014. Additionally, she has been a speciality trainee in Wales and South East London and completed a Master's in Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery and Robotics with distinction from University College London (2018-2019).

Ms. Kuntal has presented her work at both national and international levels. During her Master's program, she designed and presented a 'Virtual Reality Simulation Model for Training and Planning of Excision of Pelvic Pathology Involving Haptics and Metrics'. From 2019 to 2020, she completed a fellowship in Gynae-Oncology at Churchill Hospital, part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
