About me
Compassionate Therapy for ADHD & Bereavement Online & In-Person
Hi, my name is Lynn, but everyone calls me Elle! Thank you for reading my profile!
I specialise in supporting adults aged 30 and over who are living with ADHD.
You might be newly diagnosed, waiting for an assessment, or simply wondering if ADHD could be part of your story. Together, we can explore how ADHD shows up in your life, build practical ways of managing it, and help you feel more confident in navigating everyday challenges.
If you're considering an ADHD assessment, I can't diagnose you or prescribe medication, but I can support you with warmth and understanding as you move through that process.
I also have specialty experience working with grief and bereavement, especially when loss feels complicated or long-lasting. If you've faced several losses close together, or if grief still feels heavy even after time has passed, therapy offers the space to explore your experience, find meaning, and discover new ways to move forward.
No matter what brings you to therapy, I offer a safe, confidential space where you can pause, reflect, and explore your challenges with someone outside of your daily life. Many clients tell me that this process brings them fresh perspectives, a sense of relief, and new energy to move forward.
As an integrative therapist, I adapt my approach to suit your needs. My foundations are person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behaviour therapy, with elements of compassion-focused, existential, and gestalt therapy when helpful. What matters most is that you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make the changes that feel right for you.
I work both face-to-face and online via video.
My therapy office is located in Barkingside, Ilford, Essex where I see clients from all over the North East London region - Ilford, Barkingside, Hainault, Romford, Buckhurst Hill Chigwell, Chingford, Grange Hill, Woodford, Loughton, Leyton and Leytonstone.
Qualifications/Registrations
I hold a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling, alongside specialist training in bereavement counselling and online/telephone therapy. My work with ADHD is informed by extensive training through UKAAN and PESI in assessment, diagnosis, pharmacology, and psychosocial skills.
I'm registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and committed to ongoing professional development continually expanding my knowledge to better support you.
Ready to take the next step? Let's talk.
I offer a free 15-minute phone call so you can share a little about what's on your mind and see how it feels to talk with me. It's a chance for you to ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and decide if I feel like the right fit for you.
If you decide you'd like to begin therapy, I'll send you a simple contract and my privacy policy by email. These documents explain how we'll work together, what you can expect from me, and how your information is kept safe and confidential. Many clients tell me they find this reassuring, as it sets out clear boundaries and helps them feel secure before we start.
In our first session, we'll fully explore what's challenging you and what you'd like from therapy. Together we'll agree on a way forward that feels supportive for youwhether that's the number of sessions, the style of therapy, or taking into account other parts of your life that might affect your counselling journey.
I look forward to connecting with you.
