About me
As an accredited and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I bring over seven years of experience in private practice, alongside expertise in a forensic setting. With an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I specialize in the Person-Centered model while integrating other therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)which I am currently training in, with completion expected by June 2025. This diverse skill set allows me to offer a personalized therapy experience tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
Areas of interest
I specialize in supporting individuals with grief and loss, anxiety and depression, trauma, and a variety of other emotional challenges. My experience spans a range of settings, including hospice care, prison environments, and private practice, allowing me to offer a unique, empathetic approach to therapy.
You might also wonder how therapy works and what to expect. Each session is an opportunity for us to collaborate on your journey toward healing. I will work with you at your pace, helping you gain deeper insight, build coping strategies, and find healthier ways to manage difficult emotions. Whether you're dealing with a specific life event or looking to improve your overall well-being, therapy provides the space and support you need to move forward, in line with professional guidelines. My goal is to create a safe and respectful space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.
