About us

If you're struggling with your mental health, you may be feeling overwhelmed, frightened or unsure what's happening to you. Many people describe feeling out of control or as if their mind is working against them. You might just want someone who can help you make sense of these experiences and bring a bit more clarity and steadiness back into your day. With nearly 40 years of experience in mental health, I draw on my background as a Psychiatric Nurse and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP) to offer provisional diagnoses and structured, evidence?based treatment plans that fit your needs.
You can see me face to face in my office, or work with me remotely by phone or video. I also provide therapy in your own home if leaving the house feels difficult whether because of anxiety, panic, agoraphobia, intrusive thoughts, OCD, trauma, phobias, mobility issues or physical?health difficulties. Home visits are available within a reasonable travel distance, and you're welcome to get in touch to check whether your address is covered.
These difficulties can make everyday life feel restricted and exhausting. Many people simply want some relief from the intensity of their symptoms and someone with solid clinical experience who understands how overwhelming this can be, without jargon or pressure. My aim is to make therapy practical, accessible and based on what you can realistically manage right now.
