About me

Hi my name is Jade and I am a qualified BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Supervisor and a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. As such, I am able to work using a number of different approaches based on the needs of the people that I see.

I work within the NHS specialising in Eating Disorders, as well as working with broader mental health problems within my private practice. As part of my role within the NHS I supervise other clinicians and therapists as well as providing direct specialised therapy to our patients. I have over 11 years' experience working as a therapist within the NHS, charity and private sector.

I understand that people seek therapy for a number of different reasons, therefore I work flexibly and collaboratively within my practice. I tailor the therapy I offer to clients based on individual needs, using strategies and techniques that are aimed at supporting and helping my clients. I pride myself on being approachable, compassionate, non-judgemental and professional.

Areas of interest

I typically work with those aged 16 years old and above. I provide evidence-based CBT for a range of mental health difficulties, including Depression, Low Mood, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Health Anxiety, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder and Specific Phobias.
