About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience working in psychology services across a variety of healthcare settings including the NHS and private practice. My naturally warm, empathic and compassionate approach offers patients a safe space to be able to share their difficulties with ease. During the assessment, I individualise therapy based on a collaborative understanding of the patient's experiences, difficulties and goals. I draw upon a wide number of therapeutic modalities (listed above) in addition to Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Video Interaction Guidance.
I specialise in working with parents during the perinatal period, from pregnancy into the postnatal period and beyond. Patients may experience bonding /attachment difficulties within the parent-infant relationship, difficulties with the transition to parenthood, perinatal loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death). Additionally, I am experienced in treating birth trauma, tokophobia (fear of childbirth), perinatal OCD along with a variety of antenatal / postnatal anxiety and depression presentations.
I work with adults across the lifespan for a wide variety of mental health presentations. I offer both in person and online appointments. Please do get in contact if you would like to make an appointment for a free 15 minute consultation to discuss how I may be able to support you.
