About me

Dr Heeraj Bulluck is a Consultant Cardiologist at Spire Leeds Hospital, specialising in general and interventional cardiology. He has particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of chest pain, angina (including microvascular and vasospastic forms), myocardial infarction with non-obstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA), post-heart attack care, and the long-term prevention of ischaemic heart disease.

Dr Bulluck completed his medical degree at Peking University Health Science Centre in Beijing in 2004. He undertook his specialist cardiology training in the East of England Deanery, gaining experience across leading hospitals in Norwich, Ipswich, and Cambridge. He went on to earn a PhD from University College London, focusing on advanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

Following a prestigious fellowship in complex coronary intervention at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Glasgow, Dr Bulluck was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and later joined the Leeds General Infirmary.

Currently serving as the Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Research Lead at Leeds General Infirmary, Dr Bulluck is a recognised expert in coronary artery disease. He is actively involved in clinical research, with over 120 peer-reviewed publications, and holds the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Leeds.
