About me
I am a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with a person-centred approach, committed to empowering clients in their rehabilitation journey.
I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in Linguistics from Bangor University and an MSc in Language Pathology from Newcastle University. Since qualifying, I have gained extensive experience across NHS and private settings, including Circle Rehabilitation in Birmingham.
Specialising in stroke rehabilitation, I have advanced expertise in adult neurological conditions, including Parkinson's, MS, MND, voice disorders, and stroke. My passion for stroke support began in the NHS and remains a key focus of my practice.
In March 2017, I completed postgraduate training in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT), enhancing my ability to support clients with voice and speech quality. During the pandemic, I helped establish a local NHS-based Stroke Clinical Network, strengthening service links and improving patient pathways.
I am fully registered with the HCPC and a member of the RCSLT and ASLTIP.
