About me

I am a doctor of clinical psychology working in senior roles in both the NHS and in independent practice. I also work as an Honorary Clinical Teaching Fellow at University College London (UCL). I have over 20 years experience in mental health including 17 in the NHS.

Age range: I work with young people of all ages but typically those aged 12-25 years of age. I also work with parents from pregnancy and beyond.

I work with people facing challenges such as anxiety, (including OCD), trauma, depression, and other emotional struggles.

My approach is highly individualised, ensuring I take the time to understand the unique needs of each young person and family before selecting the most suitable therapeutic method. This tailored approach allows me to provide support that is most effective for those I work with.

Interventions: I offer evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other trauma-focused approaches. I draw on various therapeutic frameworks including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), attachment-based approaches, and narrative therapy. I am trained in Circle of Security (COS) parenting.

You are welcome to visit my website to find out more about how I work or send an email to arrange an appointment.

Areas of interest

It's hard to watch your child struggle, and despite your best efforts, you're still unsure how to provide the support they need.

Perhaps they've become anxious, withdrawn, or are struggling at school. Maybe their moods are unpredictable, or they seem stuck in patterns you don't understand. Perhaps something difficult or traumatic has happened and you're wondering if it's still affecting them. They won't talk to you, and you're left feeling at a loss, unsure how to support them.

Therapy can help your child make sense of their emotions, process difficult experiences, and regain a sense of control.

Whether they're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, school pressure, or friendships, I help young people build confidence and develop practical tools to manage their feelings.

While my main focus is on your child, I'll help you understand what they're going through and provide you with ways to support them effectively and strengthen your connection.
