About me

I have been a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic since 2001. I trained on the Cambridge / East Anglia rotation completing additional subspeciality training in Knee Surgery and Foot & Ankle Surgery in Cambridge in 2000.
My elective practice is a holistic approach to the lower limb as Hip / Knee / Foot & Ankle symptoms can be interlinked.
My joint replacement work covers hip replacements and all forms of knee replacement (total and partial replacements). I do keyhole surgery for a range of knee and ankle problems. My Foot & Ankle work is predominantly for forefoot and hindfoot pathology.
My aim is to determine the cause of symptoms with appropriate investigations. I advise patients on treatment options so that surgery is done only if non-operative symptomatic treatment e.g. physiotherapy, analgesia and lifestyle changes are not helping.

Areas of interest

Knee surgery; Hip replacement surgery; Ankle surgery; Foot surgery; Trauma surgery
