About me
Dr Emma Amoafo-Mensah is an alumnus of the prestigious Imperial College London, where she graduated with distinctions and a first-class intercalated degree in Management in 2015. She has also completed a postgraduate certificate in medical education and is a keen teacher and mentor to many.
Throughout her dermatology career, Dr Emma has given national and international presentations, published in peer-reviewed journals and grown a loyal social media following, known for her educational yet light-hearted content on skin and hair care. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatology and the British Hair and Nail Society.
She is also the founder of the House of Medics, a not-for-profit organisation that provides a platform for healthcare professionals to network, volunteer and learn. Through the House of Medics, she leads a mentorship scheme for students, particularly from underrepresented backgrounds and runs community outreach projects to promote health and wellness amongst the public.
