About me

Mr Wei is an alumnus of the University of St. Andrews and the University of Manchester. He graduated from Manchester medical school in 2010 and commenced his specialist training in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery in 2014 within the southwest London region. During his training, Mr Wei worked tirelessly to gain experience across the breadth of Trauma and Orthopaedic surgical care. His natural affinity towards leadership roles drove him to take on the role of President of the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association. Mr Wei's experience in this national leadership role continues to help him drive improvements in the care of all his patients.

After completing his specialist training in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery, Mr Wei worked in Australia as a Knee Surgery Fellow at the prestigious North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre alongside Dr. David Wood to gain experience in treating elite athletes. On his return to the UK, Mr Wei continued to perfect his skills in all aspects of knee surgery whilst working as a Knee Surgery Fellow at Frimley Park Hospital.

Mr Wei was appointment as a consultant knee surgeon at Kingston & Richmond NHS Foundation Trust in March 2023. He is focused on delivering outstanding orthopaedic care tailored to each patient's unique needs. Mr Wei provides compassionate and timely care. He is passionate about delivering comprehensive patient education, advanced surgical techniques, and superior patient outcomes. His mission is to help patients maintain their knee function, restore their mobility, and improve their quality of life.
