Mr. Dilraj Sahota Consultant Ophthalmologist (Medical Retina & Cataract Surgery)
I am a consultant ophthalmologist specialising in medical retina and cataract surgery. Based on recent National Ophthalmology Database figures, I operate at more than double the annual volume of the average UK cataract surgeon and have completed 1,000+ procedures, including cataract surgery, YAG capsulotomy for PCO, retinal laser, and intravitreal injections and steroid implants (Eylea, Vabysmo, Ozurdex). My training includes an Oxford University medical degree and a fellowship in Medical Retina & Uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital; FRCOphth certified
With Bupa patients in mind, I focus on comprehensive, long-term eye health, ensuring early diagnosis and treatment of sight-threatening conditions. My practice integrates state-of-the-art imaging such as OCT angiography and advanced therapies, including intravitreal injections and implants, to achieve the best possible outcomes.
