About me

Mr Obinna Onyekwelu is a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon based at Spire Portsmouth Hospital and Queen Alexandra Hospital. He specialises in the diagnosis and surgical management of skin cancer, soft-tissue lumps, and a full range of hand and wrist conditions. As a recognised skin cancer surgeon in Portsmouth and hand surgeon in Portsmouth, he provides timely assessment for insured and self-pay patients.

Mr Onyekwelu is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and is a Full Member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). His practice includes skin cancer excision and reconstruction, treatment of benign lesions, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, Dupuytren's disease, tendon and nerve problems, and hand injuries with coordinated access to hand therapy.
