About me

Dr Zain Sadiq is a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience in clinical psychiatry and medical leadership.

He currently serves as the Clinical Director for Maudsley Private Care and a Consultant Psychiatrist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM).

Dr Sadiq has held several senior leadership roles within SLaM, including seven years as Associate Medical Director for Lewisham, where he led service transformation, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives. He also served as the Mental Health Lead for Lewisham within the South East London Integrated Care System (SEL ICS), working collaboratively with local communities, voluntary organisations, and primary care partners to deliver high quality mental health services.

In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of psychiatry, Dr Sadiq was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) in 2021.
