About us

Qualified with a MB BS in 1977. Obtained masters in general surgery in 1981 and was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1989. Gained a diploma in urology from the Institute of Urology and University College, London in 1991.

Mr Potluri has worked as a surgeon with the Ministry of Health for several years in Jamaica, West Indies. He obtained urological skills in India, Jamaica and further urology training in Scotland, as well as the Institute of Urology at the Middlesex Hospital, London. He has held a consultant post at Hairmyres and Monklands hospitals in Scotland during 1996-1997.

Mr Potluri provided services to Princess Alexandra Hospital, Essex since November 1997- February 2018.

He enjoys teaching junior doctors, nurses and general practitioners. Princess Alexandra Hospital, the department has been recognised for specialist training in urology during his tenure. All his trainees have been appointed to consultant posts in prestigious institutions in UK band abroad

He is a keen promoter of developing community urology services.
