About me
Dr Martin is Senior Consultant at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. He trained as a subspecialist surgeon following his award of higher postgraduate MD in Medicine and was appointed to Consultant at just 34 years old. Dr Martin is the Lead Clinician for the Gynaecological Cancer Unit and the responsible Consultant for the Regional Cancer Network.
Dr Martins main area of expertise is laparoscopic (kehole) surgery and was a pioneer in Scotland in the early 2000’s in introducing new techniques including hysterectomy and radical endometriosis resection.
