About me

Worried about a persistent cough, breathlessness, or a "shadow" on a recent scan? I help patients get a clear diagnosis and start treatment fast without the long NHS wait. I'm a Consultant Respiratory and General Medical Physician with over 20 years' experience, seeing patients at OneWelbeck, The Lindo Wing, London Bridge Hospital, and Cromwell Hospital.

How I can help:

Lung nodules & abnormal scans If an X-ray or CT has shown a nodule, spot, or shadow, I offer prompt review and, where needed, advanced same-day diagnostic procedures bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) performed under sedation.

Persistent cough or breathlessness Full assessment and treatment for cough, breathlessness, wheeze, or chest tightness that hasn't resolved or doesn't have a clear cause.

Asthma that isn't under control Advanced testing and a tailored treatment plan to reduce flare-ups and get your symptoms properly managed, whether newly diagnosed or long-standing.

Pleural disease Diagnosis and image-guided treatment of pleural effusion and related conditions.

Chest infections & acute respiratory illness Assessment and treatment for chest infections, pneumonia, and acute breathing problems.

Why patients choose me:

As NHS Lead Clinician for the Lung Cancer Service at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, I bring the same rigorous, multidisciplinary approach to my private patients with the added benefit of fast access and continuity of care.

I trained at some of London's leading teaching hospitals, including St Bartholomew's, the Royal Free, and UCLH, and have spent over 20 years focused specifically on respiratory and general medicine.

Alongside clinical practice, I hold an MD(res) from Imperial College London and continue to teach and publish as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute work that keeps my clinical practice closely aligned with the latest evidence. Whatever's brought you here, my aim is the same: a clear diagnosis, explained properly, and a treatment plan that actually fits your life.
