About me
I was raised in a multicultural environment within a close and supportive family, which shaped my understanding of life experiences with empath and warm approach. I completed my professional training in the United Kingdom practise as an accredited Clinician.
I work over 18 years of clinical experience supporting both adults and young people CAMHS experiences a wide range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety disorders, stress-related conditions, and complex psychological presentations. My work focuses on helping individuals improve emotional wellbeing, develop resilience, and regain balance in their daily lives in a way to understand their needs.
Alongside my clinical work, I remain strongly committed to ongoing professional development, advanced training, and evidence-based practice, ensuring that my therapeutic approach reflects the latest developments in psychological research and mental health care.
My clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, a widely recognised and evidence-based psychological treatment. CBT focuses on structured, short-term, and goal-oriented support, helping individuals understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours and better understanding without protocols..
This therapeutic approach focuses primarily on the here and now, helping individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns that may contribute to emotional distress and behavioural difficulties. Through structured interventions and practical therapeutic tools, CBT enables individuals to develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation, and create meaningful and lasting behavioural change.
I also tailored CBT interventions for AuDHD presentations, supporting individuals with co-occurring autism and ADHD. Therapy is carefully adapted to meet the unique cognitive, sensory, and emotional needs of neurodivergent individuals, ensuring a supportive, flexible, and personalised therapeutic experience.
Throughout my career, I have worked across a range of diverse clinical settings, including National Health Service secondary care psychology services, hospitals, Improving Access to Psychological Therapies services, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. I am also Healthcode registered, enabling clients to access therapy through major private health insurers such as Bupa, AXA, and Vitality.
My clinical work is informed by structured psychological assessments, validated outcome measures, and collaborative therapeutic approaches. This allows for the development of accurate psychological formulations and a deeper understanding of each individual's experiences and needs. My practice is guided by National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines and Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition diagnostic criteria to ensure that treatment remains ethical, evidence-based, and clinically informed.
Clients often describe me as empathetic, approachable, and easy to talk to. I believe it is essential to create a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space where individuals feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, expressing emotions openly, and discussing personal or sensory experiences at their own pace.
My aim is to help clients understand the underlying factors contributing to their difficulties while developing practical and sustainable strategies that support improved wellbeing and a healthier, more balanced life.
Throughout my clinical career, I have also recognised that CBT is not always the right approach for everyone. At times, attentive listening, psychological flexibility, and collaborative problem-solving can be equally important in supporting meaningful and lasting psychological change.
