About me
I am a Registered Health Psychologist with a PhD in Health Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have over 25 years of experience in physical health and more than 15 years working in mental health, supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional and physical health challenges.
My approach is collaborative and person?centred. I work alongside clients to help them make meaningful changes in how they cope with both physical symptoms and emotional difficulties. I support people in understanding what is affecting their wellbeing, what matters to them, and how they can move forward with confidence.
I draw on evidence?based psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness?based strategies. My experience spans NHS, private practice and the charity sector, where I have supported individuals managing anxiety, low mood, stress and the psychological impact of health conditions.
I have particular expertise in supporting women navigating perimenopause and menopause, including menopause?related anxiety, brain fog, identity changes and emotional overwhelm. I also work extensively with individuals experiencing chronic pain, fatigue and long?term conditions, helping them improve quality of life and build emotional resilience.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and maintain regular training and clinical supervision to ensure I provide the highest standard of care. I offer flexible appointments face?to?face, online or via telephone tailored to each person's needs and preferences.
