About me

About Me

I am a BACP Accredited Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with over 3,000 clinical hours of experience across private practice, hospice, NHS oncology and educational settings. I work exclusively with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, relationship difficulties, chronic illness and significant life transitions.

My experience within hospice and NHS oncology services has given me a particular understanding of grief, loss, life-changing diagnoses and the emotional impact of illness. Alongside my private practice, this breadth of experience enables me to work confidently with both recent difficulties and long-standing emotional patterns.

My approach is warm, collaborative and relational. Rather than working from a single therapeutic model, I draw on psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, attachment-based and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring therapy to each person's individual needs. I continue to develop my practice through regular supervision, specialist training and continuing professional development.

Alongside my counselling work, I provide clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors working across a range of settings. This enriches my reflective practice and supports my commitment to providing thoughtful, ethical and evidence-informed care.
