About me

As a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I provide a warm, accepting, and fully confidential space for you to explore life's challenges, personal growth, emotional healing, or simply gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

Life's ups and downs, whether they stem from work-related stress, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, bereavement, addiction, or low self-esteem can quickly feel overwhelming. We often adopt coping mechanisms that offer short-term relief but eventually undermine our well-being. Changing these ingrained patterns isn't easy, but I believe everyone has the capacity to transform. With the right support, healthier alternatives emerge, leading to greater emotional balance and fulfilment.

I know you may be eager to see and feel positive change sooner rather than later. I'm committed to addressing both your immediate concerns and your long-term personal growth. Perhaps there's a specific difficulty you want to navigate, or you're seeking clarity on what's holding you back, together, we'll explore how past experiences may be shaping your present. Understanding these connections can foster self-awareness and help you move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

My approach is grounded in self-knowledge, acceptance and self-care as essential foundations for healing. Within the safety of our therapeutic relationship I encourage gentle self-reflection. This space allows you to explore your experiences, past and present, without judgment, empowering you to take meaningful steps toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
I work with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including:

 Depression, overwhelm, stress, and anxiety
 Grief and loss
 Addiction and disordered eating
 Physical and sexual abuse
 Relationship/family challenges
 Hidden and physical disabilities
 Work/study related challenges

I understand how unmet needs, for example around early life difficulties, education, or challenging life experiences can affect self-esteem, confidence and personal development. These in turn can affect how one's life unfolds, impacting opportunities, social connections, and workplace success.

I offer flexible appointment times, including evenings, to fit around work and family commitments.

Length & Frequency: Tailored to your needs. We'll agree together what pace works best, whether that's weekly sessions or a different schedule. I am also available to continue sessions with you via a private arrangement once your BUPA approved sessions are completed.

My goal is to equip you with practical tools and insights so you can build resilience and create lasting change. I want you to feel more empowered, self-assured, and at peace with yourself.

Whether you're using your BUPA plan for the first time or returning after a break, I'm here to make your therapy journey straightforward and supportive. If you have questions about BUPA coverage, fees, or booking your first appointment, please reach out, helping you access care as smoothly as possible is my priority.
