About me

Peter B Rauh was born in Swindon, Wiltshire.

After university degrees in America and the UK, he qualified in medicine from St George’s Hospital, London in 1992. Following basic surgical training in London, he completed his orthopaedic training on the Southwest Thames rotation based from St George's Hospital. This included a year Fellowship at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

He was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Salisbury District Hospital in 2003.

Peter now works exclusively at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury.

He treats all adult Foot & Ankle and Knee conditions from the simple to the very complex. Problems routinely treated include bunions, arthritis, sports injuries, knee arthroscopy, knee replacements, deformity and trauma.

Peter lives with his wife and four children near Salisbury. He maintains a beautiful garden, is an avid cycler and enjoys a wide variety of sports.
