About me

I am an HCPC-registered Clinical, Counselling and Health Psychologist with over ten years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults and families across NHS and private settings.

In therapy, I support people to better understand and manage a range of difficulties, including anxiety and worry, low mood, stress and feeling overwhelmed, low self-esteem, difficult or traumatic experiences, boundaries and family difficulties.

How can I help?

I offer both short- and longer-term therapy and work integratively. This means I work flexibly with you, adapting therapy to your difficulties, current circumstances and individual needs.

I draw on my experience in a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Narrative Therapy.

I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental and containing therapeutic space where you can feel comfortable exploring what is going on for you. Through compassion and empathy, I hope to help you develop a better understanding of yourself, build on your strengths and move towards the things that matter to you.

My aim is ultimately to support you in making meaningful changes and living a more fulfilling life in line with your values and goals.

What is the next step?

The first step is to send me a message letting me know what you would like help with and any questions you may have. I can then send you some further information or, if helpful, we can arrange a free 15-minute telephone consultation to briefly discuss what you are looking for.

If you decide that you would like to work together, we will arrange an initial consultation. During this appointment, we will talk in more detail, at your own pace, about what brings you to therapy and what you would like support with.

If you are happy to continue, we will agree on a plan for therapy together. Sessions will generally take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on your needs and circumstances.

Areas of interest

I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress and feeling overwhelmed, low self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, and the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences. I also support people through periods of change, adjustment and uncertainty, helping them develop a better understanding of themselves, build on their strengths and make meaningful changes in their lives.
