About me

Mr Eastley was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Sarcoma surgeon at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and East Midlands Sarcoma Service in 2023. Prior to this he graduated from The University of Sheffield of Medical School in 2008, and completed his specialist orthopaedic training in Leicester.
In 2021-2 I he completed a one year fellowship specialising in Sarcoma and Musculoskeletal tumours at the internationally renowned Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham (UK). Following this he completed a further 12 month fellowship in Musculoskeletal oncology at the world renowned Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto (Canada) (2022-3).
Mr Eastley has a keen interest in research, and in 2019 completed a PhD in Soft Tissue Sarcoma, for which he was awarded fellowships from the Medical Research Council, the Rosetrees Trust, and the Royal College of Surgeons. He publishes regularly in peer reviewed journals, and has written many book chapters on a variety of topics. He currently hold an Honorary Lecturer post at The University of Leicester, which is offered to individuals that provide a significant, regular research contribution to the University.
Mr Eastley has a wide experience in the surgical treatment of Musculoskeletal tumours including benign and malignant (cancerous) conditions, Lipomas, Metastatic Bone Disease and Sarcoma. He also has experience in a range of hip and knee conditions, and performs hip and knee replacements regularly.
