About me
Graduated with Honours from Manchester Medical School in 1992, with Doctorate of Medicine awarded in 2002. Ophthalmology training at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, The Western Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, with sub-specialty training in complex and refractive cataract surgery and in corneal and external eye disease.
Appointed as Consultant at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2001, and Honorary Consultant at the Oxford Eye Hospital (John Radcliffe) in 2003, with specific responsibility for corneal disease and corneal transplantation.
Member of Microsurgical Skills faculty of Royal College of Ophthalmologists.Lead trainer for DSEK endothelial graft surgery. Management roles have included College Tutor, Clinical Lead for Royal Berkshire Ophthalmology and Clinical Director for Berkshire-wide Ophthalmology service.
