About me

I am a Doctor in Clinical Psychology and have worked as a Senior Clinical Psychologist within the NHS, supporting young people and adults with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues. I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy that is tailored to each individual, offering a safe and supportive space to explore concerns and work towards meaningful change.

I have specialist expertise in eating disorders, including Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, restrictive eating, and body-image struggles. I draw on leading evidence-based treatments such as Enhanced CBT for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA), alongside approaches like Compassion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy. My style is warm, collaborative, and flexible, with a focus on supporting recovery and helping clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

When we begin working together, I start by building a thorough understanding of what you're experiencing and why. Clients often tell me that even after the first session, they feel more clarity and compassion toward themselves. This insight can open the door to real, lasting change.

Together, and at your pace, we can explore your experiences in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space. I'd be happy to talk through your hopes for therapy and answer any questions you may have.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss how we might work together for a more positive future.

Areas of interest

I work with individuals aged 17 years and older.

Alongside supporting people with a broad range of mental health concerns, I specialise in working with eating disorders and related difficulties, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, restrictive eating, and body-image struggles.

Many of the people I work with use food or self-criticism as ways of coping with distress, and therapy provides a space to find healthier, more sustainable alternatives.

I deliver a range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, CBT-E, MANTRA, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and schema therapy, tailored to best meet each person's needs and goals.
