About me

Are you feeling lost, questioning what is happening for you, or struggling to find answers to how you are feeling? If you're experiencing what feels like a crisis, you're not alone. Many people reach a point in their lives where they try to appear calm and composed yet feel an internal storm of stress and exhaustion. If anxiety and overthinking are impacting your relationships, work, and overall happiness, you're not alone. Many people find themselves caught in a cycle of worry, struggling to express their needs or make decisions, fearing they won't do things "the right way." This can lead to feelings of anxiety, confusion, and even despair.
These questions can be overwhelming, and it's normal to feel a sense of urgency to find answers. However, navigating this complex emotional landscape can be challenging, especially when it feels like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.
In our therapy sessions, we'll work collaboratively to explore these feelings and questions in a safe and supportive space. Here's how therapy can help you during this time:
Gain Clarity: Together, we'll delve into your thoughts and feelings, helping you identify what truly matters to you.
Develop Coping Strategies: You'll learn effective techniques to manage feelings of anxiety and uncertainty, allowing you to approach life's challenges with resilience and confidence.
Explore Identity: We'll examine your sense of self and how it relates to your beliefs and experiences. This exploration can help you better understand who you are and what you want from life.
Create a Meaningful Path Forward: Together, we'll develop actionable steps to help you move toward a more purposeful existence, empowering you to make choices that align with your newfound insights.
Many of my clients have found that working through their concerns has led to profound personal growth. They report feeling more in tune with themselves, better equipped to handle life's uncertainties, and more connected with themselves.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling, specializing in Person-Centred Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Psychodynamic approaches. Additionally, I have a BSc in Psychology and advanced certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), NLP Professional Coaching, Mindfulness Practice, and Rewind Trauma Therapy.
This diverse and integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to each client's unique needs. Person-Centred Therapy ensures that clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their emotions in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps identify and reframe negative thought patterns, providing clients with practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, and self-defeating behaviours. Psychodynamic Therapy delves deeper into unconscious patterns and past experiences, helping clients uncover and resolve the root causes of emotional distress.
By combining these approaches, I can offer both immediate coping strategies and long-term emotional healing. My expertise in trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR and Rewind Therapy is particularly beneficial for individuals processing past trauma, while NLP and mindfulness techniques enhance self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth.
Plus, as an Accredited Professional Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, I adhere to their rigorous ethical framework, ensuring a safe, confidential, and professional therapeutic experience.
If you're ready to take the next step toward healing and personal growth, I'd love to support you on your journey.
