About me
Mr Pikoulas is a trained and qualified Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeon,who after completing his specialist training in General surgery in reputable hospitals of the UK and his Oncoplastic Breast Fellowships in the world known Nighting Gale centre (University hospital of South Manchester) and in the well-known for its Breast Services Royal Bolton Hospital in 2017, he was appointed immediately as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in the second busiest Breast Unit(Symptomatic and Screening) of the Northwest of England .He studied medicine in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the prestigious Military School of Combat Officers and he graduated in 2005 as a Naval Medical Officer with a medical degree with honours.
In May 2023 and after a successful interview, Mr Pikoulas was appointed as the Clinical Lead for the Breast services in Royal Bolton Hospital.
He has also been trained into applying Human Factors and he is a certified investigator for serious incidents within the Trust.
Mr Pikoulas is actively involved in the training of the general surgical trainees and he is a recognised educational supervisor as per GMC guidance.
